Ken is a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina and has lived there most of his life. He graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1967. He began his college studies at Atlantic Christian College that same year. However his academic endeavors were interrupted by a three year enlistment with the U.S. Army. While in the Army he served a one year tour of duty in Vietnam. Upon leaving the Army he resumed his studies at Atlantic Christian College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1975.
He has been practicing as a Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years and established the firm of Kenneth E. Banks, CPA, PA in 1987. He is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPA's and served as chairman of the associations Taxation Committee. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPA's.
Ken is married to Sharon Banks and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Ken has been active in the Lions Club where he held many offices. He is a past member of Walnut Creek Country Club where he served as treasurer and president. He and Sharon currently reside in Carteret County.

Brandon has a Master of Science in Accounting degree from East Carolina University. In addition to his advanced degree, he holds a North Carolina Certified Public Accounting Certificate (# 34374), a FINRA Series 7 (Federal Securities License), a North Carolina Series 66 (State Securities License) and a North Carolina Life & Health Insurance License. Having these licenses enables Brandon to offer our clients comprehensive payroll services including retirement plans and life/health insurance. Brandon is married to his beautiful wife Jessica and they have twin baby girls, Delaney and Emalyn. Brandon is a captain and treasurer on the New Hope Volunteer Fire Department, chairman of the board of directors for Eastern Wayne Sanitary District, and an avid outdoorsman.

Natalie began her accounting career after graduating from Mount Olive College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is currently working in our office located in Emerald Isle, NC. Natalie is certified to practice as a CPA in the state of North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPA's, as well as a member of the American Institue of CPA's. Natalie serves as a board member of Bogue Banks Water Corporation and is the treasurer of Emerald Isle Baptist Church. In her spare time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband, Leonard, on the beach or on the boat.

Betsy serves our team as Director of Operations. Betsy has more than 30 years of experience serving the payroll needs of a diverse group of clients. She is married to her husband Donald and they have two handsome boys, Chandler and Thad. She is a lifelong member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church where she serves as the Assistant Financial Secretary.
